Team Nominations

Just Touch Rugby competition is played under the NTRA Rules. A draft copy of the latest version is availavle under the Rules/Code of Conduct tab. (Draft Rules subject to change.)

Games are played with a standard 6 persons per side, though you may commence a game with as few as 4 players on the field. Optional 7 per side grades are available subject to sufficient demand from nominating teams.

Mixed teams must not have more than 3 males on the field at any time.

Team nominations are strictly limited to a maxmium of 14 players for reasons of insuranace cover.

All players must wear indentical and individually numbered team shirts from Round 4 games onwards.

Players must have played in a minimum of five ordinary rounds games in order to be eligible to play in Finals rounds games.

All players must abide by the Code of Conduct on and off the field of play.

Once you have submitted your Team's nomination a $200 deposit will be required before games are scheduled for your team in the weekly draw.

When we have processed your Nomination we will be in contact with the latest details of the upcoming season and to discuss fees payment arrangements.

Full fees payment is required no later than the day prior to Round #4.

(From time to time discounts might be available for full fees paid prior to Round #1/#2. We will advise you if this applies to your fees payment.)

Children may be nominated as part of a team once they reach their 13th birthday with the permission of their parent/guardian. It is the child's parent/guardian's responsibility to ensure the child plays in an appropriate division for their age, physical development and playing skills. The child's parent/guardian must make their own arrangements for adequate supervision of their child. No child care duties or facilities are provided.

Any child left unsupervised will be excluded from games and reported to Queensland Government child safety officials.

All Just Touch Rugby Officials and Referees have current Working with Children Blue Cards to assure the safety of children playing in the competition. However Officials' duties are directly focused on managing and operating the football competition. 

Individual Nominations

We will endeavour to place you with a suitable team that is looking for new players.

We have plenty of friendly, social teams that will welcome you and help you join in.

You will pay your portion of the team fees to your new team's captain/manager.
